Graduating at the top of her class, Summa Cum Laude with High Honors, Lisa Faer is a Nurse Practitioner that has over 12 years of experience in Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. Lisa began her work in aesthetic nursing at Soña MedSpa in 2006 where she served as lead nurse before transitioning into private practice with cosmetic dermatologist, Dr. Thomas Munyon, MD. Under the tutelage of Dr. Munyon, Lisa continued to develop her expertise, and has completed extensive training and certifications in areas of facial rejuvenation, cosmetic injectables, skin care, laser hair removal, body contouring, and medical weight loss. Her expertise includes Intense Pulsed Light rejuvenation, Fractional Skin Resurfacing, Botox, dermal fillers, Ultherapy, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, Laser Hair Removal and medical grade customized skin care for aging and acne prone skin.

Lisa is known for her “artistic eye” and “gentle touch,” as well as, her passion for listening to her clients and explaining complicated procedures. "Listening carefully to our clients is the best way to develop a personalized treatment plan and to ensure that I exceed their expectations." As a published researcher, Lisa emphasizes the importance of evidenced based practice. Lisa painstakingly investigates and researches products and services before offering them to clients. "When a product or technology is new, there is often a lot of hype and pressure to jump on the bandwagon. I believe it is important to differentiate between advertising and proven scientific data. I want to know that the products and services I recommend to my clients will provide them with the superior results that they are looking for with minimal downtime.”

 

Lisa currently sees patients at FaerHouse, PentHouse (at Westin St. Francis Hotel Penthouse), Optimal Health Spectrums, and California Skin Institute locations all over the Bay Area. When Lisa isn’t in the treatment room helping clients reach their skincare goals, she serves as a research consultant for various aesthetic medical device companies, including Allergen, CoolSculpting, Ulthera and Merz Inc. She is also considered an Ultherapy expert and travels nationally as a Clinical Educator to train Physicians on the new technology. Lisa Faer works in collaboration with Dr. Michael Faer, Dr. Lynne Mielke, and Dr. Thomas Munyon. These Medical Doctors serve on Lisa's Board of Collaborative Physicians. Their specialities include a Board Certified Radiologist, a Board Certified Psychiatrist/Functional Medicine Physician, and a Board Certified Dermatologist respectively.
